Wilmington Hive needed branding for their youth travel baseball team. They had a rough idea of what they wanted for the emblem, but also needed a proper logo and various patches for alternate jerseys.

I took my inspiration from late 1980s/early 1990s Major and Minor League Baseball team logos. I wanted to avoid running into “bee mascot” territory, so I focused on the hive itself. The results were an iconic design system suited for any application: jerseys, shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers, even beanies.
